High-Quality and Free Design Resource Websites

Design Informer is here to inform you of some great high-quality websites that offer some really good design resources. Best of all, these resources are free. Whether you are looking for a button, textures, or other web design elements for your next design, you are sure to find it in one of these websites.

I’ve been meaning to share these design resources for a few weeks now, but I just haven’t had the time to gather them all. I tweeted a couple of weeks ago asking my followers if they knew of any other websites, but a lot of the suggestions were sites that were really not that great. From all the sites that I gathered, these are my favorites. I can even say that I’ve used a lot of the freebies that are available for download on these websites.

The Websites

365PSD

365psd was started by Jonno Riekwel who decided he wasn’t going to let his creative work die after being rejected by clients. Instead of sending these files to the virtual basement to be forgotten, he decided to rally with other designers to share these beautiful PSDs with the world. Jonno’s goal was to release a free PSD every day for a whole year.

Subtle Patterns

Subtle Patterns is a collection of 57 high quality design patterns for you to use freely. New patterns added weekly.

Premium Pixels

Premium Pixels is a bunch of free design resources & tutorials created by Orman Clark. Don’t worry, shameless freeloading is encouraged, feel free to use and abuse at will.

PixelsDaily

PixelsDaily is not your typical web design website. Unlike most design websites PixelsDaily delivers daily(!) high quality content, posts resources of all kinds and file types, publishes short but detailed tutorials that don’t take hours to do and allows contributions for designers to showcase their work.

Designmoo

Designmoo is a community for discovering and sharing free PSDs, vectors, textures, patterns, fonts, and more.

Design Kindle

We love how helpful the web design community is and want to return the favor by offering premium quality web design files absolutely free. No required membership, no hidden fees, just web design resources ready to be downloaded.

Freebies Booth

All of the resources available on Freebies Booth are and always be free to use in both personal and commercial projects. You can use our resources in your designs, web apps, desktop and mobile apps, graphic design for free.

Fireworks Lab

On the Fireworks Lab you can download free resource files for Adobe Fireworks. All files are layered PNG’s which can be opened and edited with Adobe Fireworks CS4+. The resources you can download here are free and you can use them where ever you want.
